Luxe Light Knitted Paper Cords – FSC® Certified
Lightweight cords for eco-friendly packaging, promotional bags, and merchandising.
DESCRIPTION
SERIE PAE FSC MIX CREDIT
FSC® certified round paper cord with a "luxe light" knitted weave, developed as a premium handle solution for manually assembled bags and packaging. Its construction balances aesthetics with a lightweight feel, providing an elegant visual result without adding unnecessary weight to the overall packaging.
Technical Specifications
Manufactured from 100% FSC® paper, available in 5mm and 6.5mm diameters. Offers a tensile strength of up to 16kg, making it ideal for light-to-medium-duty bags in manual assembly processes.
The knitted structure ensures stability during end-use while maintaining a flexible, lightweight handle feel. Fully customisable to project requirements, allowing for bespoke colours, lengths, and end fittings (tipping) depending on the packaging design or production system.
Applications and Uses
Specially developed for advertising bags, luxury paper carriers, and bespoke packaging. This cord is the professional choice for box fabrication, including rigid boxes, luxury coffrets, and wooden cases where a high-quality finish is required.
It is widely used in high-end retail, promotional packaging, and branding projects as a sustainable and aesthetic handle for hand-assembled solutions. An ideal alternative to textile ropes for manufacturers prioritizing eco-friendly, refined presentation.
Sustainability and Certification
Made entirely of paper, enabling the production of 100% recyclable mono-material bags.
FSC® MIX CREDIT certified, contributing to the development of sustainable, biodegradable, and responsibly sourced packaging solutions.
Design
Available in 10 colours: natural kraft, green, yellow, orange, pink, red, light blue, blue, white, and black. This variety ensures the handle integrates seamlessly with the bag's graphic design.
The luxe light knit provides a sophisticated and uniform aesthetic, offering a visually attractive solution without increasing the packaging's weight.
Finishes and End Fittings
Available with various technical finishes and fittings tailored to your assembly process:- Cut and Pressed: Reduces the cord's end diameter to facilitate threading through eyelets, streamlining manual assembly.
- Cold Cutting: A standard straight-cut finish for manual processes where no additional fitting is required.
- Metal Hook: A metallic end fitting that ensures quick insertion and speeds up manual assembly, acting as a secure anchor point inside the bag.
- Film Hook: An end fitting made from cellulose acetate, a plant-based material. The preferred sustainable choice for paper cords, acting as a rigid guide for effortless manual threading.
Delivery Formats
For manual manufacturing, the cord can be supplied in pre-cut lengths (bundles) or by the metre (spools/bobbins), adapting to the client’s production scale.
Origin and Quality Assurance
Manufactured in Spain under controlled industrial processes, ensuring consistent quality standards and high-volume production capacity. LIASA provides extensive expertise in technical cords for the packaging industry, offering reliable, bespoke solutions for every client.
