This braided round polyester PSF cord with inner wire is designed for products where the hanging cord remains visible and must make assembly easier without losing its textile appearance.
Its main application is as a cord for car air fresheners. The inner wire allows the hanger to be formed without using a traditional knot, making assembly faster, easier and more repeatable. It also gives the cord more body and helps the air freshener keep a more controlled position while the vehicle is moving.
The same wired structure also allows the cord to be shaped and to hold the form created. This is especially useful for trimmings, costume jewellery, crafts, decorative items, packaging, tags and sample cards where curves, decorative ends or visible shapes are required with a textile-looking finish.

• Technical composition: Braided round cord made from 55% polyester staple fibre, PSF, ±5% and 45% galvanised steel wire of 0.4 mm ±5%. This construction combines a textile-looking outer cover with an internal wire structure.
• Available diameter: 1.8 mm ±0.1 mm, a fine and functional size for small pieces, reduced perforations and applications where the cord must integrate without adding excessive volume.
• Shapeable inner wire: The metal core allows the cord to be handled with greater precision, formed into hangers, curves, loops or decorative ends, and to hold the shape once worked. This feature makes assembly easier and allows the cord to work as both a functional and visible element.
• Textile PSF outer finish: Polyester staple fibre gives the cord a more natural textile appearance, suitable for products where the cord, string or hanger remains visible.
• Customisation: We can adapt length, colour, finish and presentation according to the technical, functional and visual requirements of each project.
